Agilent Technologies, specialists in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, promote research at the Swedish Metabolomics Centre in Umeå. During a whole year researchers will be permitted to test run one of the company’s most advanced instruments.

At a seminar at the Chemical Biological Centre in Umeå on September 4th Peter Abrahamsson, Agilent’s product specialist for mass spectrometry in the Nordic countries, had good news: From October Swedish research will have access to their latest technology in mass spectrometry, an Ion Mobility Q-TOF, which will make it possible to conduct metabolite research which currently is difficult to perform anywhere else in Europe.
